Ronny Chieng is a Malaysian-born Chinese-American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and television host known for incisive cultural commentary, rapid-fire delivery, and sharply argued observations about technology, politics, immigration, and modern life. He joined The Daily Show as a correspondent in 2015 and later became one of the Emmy-winning program’s rotating hosts. Chieng also created and starred in Ronny Chieng: International Student, appeared in films including Crazy Rich Asians, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and M3GAN, and released the Netflix stand-up specials Asian Comedian Destroys America!, Speakeasy, and Love to Hate It.
