The Boxmasters are an American rock and roll band from Southern California formed by Billy Bob Thornton and J.D. Andrew in 2006. Known for a “modbilly” sound that blends 1960s British Invasion pop, rock and roll, country, rockabilly, Americana, and Bakersfield-style roots music, the band draws from influences including The Beatles, The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Big Star, John Prine, Kris Kristofferson, and The Allman Brothers.
